Randy Strandt


Randy has been a member of the CCGA-P for 10 years serving as a Coxswain in both Unit 1 and 2. He has previously served as the Vice President and Secretary/Treasurer on the Board of Governors.  

Randy is a chartered accountant employed as a Corporate Controller with the Beedie Group and previously worked as a Senior Manager with KPMG in Vancouver. He has a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Simon Fraser University. His education and career have provided him with a wide range of experience in financial reporting, auditing, corporate governance, and management.

Greg Miller


Greg joined the CCGA-P in Oct of 1994. He has served in many roles with the CCGA-P: South Area Representative, Coxswain, Unit Leader, Zone Director, Training Officer and ARTE Member. Greg was also part of the winning team in the International Search and Rescue Competition in 2000.

Greg lives in Richmond with his wife Michelle. He is the General Manager of British Columbia for Goodfellow Inc, a distributor for hardwood flooring and building material products.

Bruce Falkins


Bruce is a native Vancouver resident, and resides with his wife and two children in the West Vancouver area, where he has owned a marina business for the last 23 years. Currently he actively serves Unit 1 - Howe Sound as a Coxswain.

Bruce has been a volunteer in West Vancouver for 10 years in the local Fire department and 18 years with the CCGA-P. He has served in several roles within CCGA-P: Unit training officer, Unit Leader, Courtesy Examiner, Zone Director, Training Director, Secretary/Treasurer, and Vice President. Bruce has also served on various committees for the CCGA-P, as well as other committees such as, the Local Marine Advisory Committee for Coast Guard.

Brian De Clare


Brian De Clare is a former president of the Oak Bay Marine Rescue Society, which supports CCGA-P Station 33 - Oak Bay.  Since 2004, he has been the president of GLOBAL ENERGY HORIZONS CORPORATION (GEHC), a company that focuses on newly emerging technologies in the alternative energy sector.  He's done strategic advisory work for international Blue-Chip oil & gas producers, mining houses, large industrial consumers, pension funds and governments. De Clare was an advisor to the Clinton administration on energy issues. A regular guest on CNN, CNBC, BBC and SKY television, Brian is also widely quoted in the commodities press.  His experience with non-profits extends beyond the CCGA-P.  He is currently the treasurer and chair of the finance committee for GLENLYON NORFOLK SCHOOL and is also on the Board of Governors for DISCOVERY SCHOOL. De Clare is married with four children.

Jim Lee



Jim has been a member of CCGA for nearly ten years. He has served in various roles for the organization including Human Resources Manager, Unit Leader for Unit 27- Nanaimo and a former Coxswain. Jim holds a commercial 60t and is a past ARTE member. He is currently aligned with Unit 58 in French Creek.

Jim also serves the community as a board member for other charitable organizations, such as the Boys and Girls Club. Jim is currently retired and residing in French Creek. He is an active sailor who cruises all over the West Coast!

Duncan Peacock


Duncan is a resident of Kitimat, where he lives with his wife Sue and three children, Christopher, Nicole, and Karina. Duncan is an electrician and has worked for Alcan as an industrial electrician for the last 25 years.

Duncan has been a volunteer with Unit 63 since January 1992, and has served as Deputy Unit Leader and Unit Leader. He has served on the Board of Directors as Zone 7 Director and is now continuing to serve the membership as the Board's Northern Area Representative.

Hans Verbeek


Hans is a resident of Tsawwassen, where he lives with his wife Judi. He has been a member of Unit 08 - Delta since 2004 and served as Deputy Unit Leader and Treasurer of the Delta Marine Rescue Society. He continues to be a Coxswain in the unit. Hans and Judi are active boaters and own a sailboat moored in the Point Roberts Marina.
 
Hans has served in a number of senior positions in national car and truck rental companies. He relocated to Vancouver in 1997 to become the General  Manager for a major car rental company in Vancouver. His career has provided him with a wide range of experience in the many aspects of managing a competitive business.

Timothy Kendrick


Timothy Kendrick is a crewmember with Station 10 -Richmond.  He is President of BW Global Structures, Inc., Canada's largest Greenhouse manufacturing company as well as Chairman of Mercator Group International Inc., a yacht brokerage firm that specializes in yachts over 80 feet.  His non-profit experience includes sitting on the Board of Directors for the Duke of Edinburgh Awards as well as acting as the Area Commissioner for Scouts Canada. Kendrick lives in Vancouver, B.C.

Ralph McRae


Ralph was born and raised in the Vancouver area.  He served with the Canadian Armed Forces (Reserve) for thirteen years in the 1970s and 1980s, retiring with the rank of Captain.  He is a graduate of the University of British Columbia, holding Bachelors of Laws and Commerce degrees.  He is also a member of the Law Societies of British Columbia and Alberta, having practiced law in Vancouver since 1982.

Mr. McRae is the Chairman and CEO of Leading Brands, Inc., a fully integrated beverage company doing business across North America; Northwest Waste Systems Inc., a family-owned waste management company operating throughout the Lower Mainland and Mountain Spring Water, LP, a local home and office water delivery business.
  
A member of RVYC and WVYC, Ralph, his wife and three children are active recreational boaters who enjoy exploring the coastal waters of British Columbia.

Frank Hudson


Raised and educated in the Victoria area, Frank Hudson started a small business at the age of nineteen which he successfully operated for fifteen years. Since joining the provincial government in 1984 he has held numerous senior management positions, and is currently the executive director of the Strategic Acquisitions and Intellectual Property Management Branch in the Ministry of Labour and Citizens' Services.

Frank joined the Auxiliary in 1993 and has held several key positions at the regional level, including Treasurer and three consecutive terms as President. A graduate of the 2003-2004 Leadership Victoria program, he is currently vice chair of Leadership Victoria, and a volunteer member of the City of Langford Finance and Administration Committee. He previously served as a member of the Saanich Police Board, and has volunteered for several non-profit organizations.
He was awarded the Queen's Jubilee Medal in 2002 in recognition of his contribution to his community through his volunteer activities, and received the prestigious Commissioner's Commendation from the Canadian Coast Guard in 2005 for his significant contribution to marine search and rescue in Canada.

Frank proudly resides in the progressive City of Langford with his wife Theresa and youngest son Daniel. In his spare time, he is an avid fisherman and spends as much time as possible aboard his 17' Boston Whaler Montauk.

Bill Bullis


Bill is President and CEO of BCAA and serves as Board Chair and President of BCAA Traffic Safety Foundation. Mr. Bullis has more than 28 years of experience in senior management of domestic and international companies. Before joining BCAA, Mr. Bullis was Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of CUC Broadcasting Co., of Toronto. Previous to that, Mr. Bullis worked for the Pillsbury Company for 15 years, and as President, Burger King Canada, President, Jamaica Flour Mills, Vice President, Pillsbury Latin American, Director, Corporate Quality Assurance and Technical Director, Pillsbury Canada. Mr. Bullis received his BSc degree in Biology in Spokane, Washington, and completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Graduate School of Business. Mr. Bullis also serves on the boards of BCIT Foundation and the Burnaby Board of Trade. He is Chair of the Foundation's Executive Committee and serves on the Audit/Finance, Governance, Human Resources, Fund Development and Programs Committees.

Reg Marrinier


Reg Marrinier is vice-president of Retail Banking at the North Shore Credit Union. Reg oversees all of NSCU's branches, the Call Centre, operations, Marketing and Wealth Management activities. Reg is active in North Shore and Burnaby community organizations including Canadian Youth Business Foundation Mentoring Program, and BC Children's Hospital. Reg and his wife Myla are avid boaters and Power Squadron members spending time on their “Ocean Blu” in the San Juan Islands and the Gulf Islands.
